We are currently accepting applications/resumes for the following positions:

*Medical Director* - 1 F/T Position

The Medical Director will diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and injuries, particularly those relating to addiction and associated disorders, by performing enumerated duties. The Director is responsible for developing, monitoring and enhancing best medical practices and optimal patient outcomes. The Director shall provide leadership, direction and coordination of all clinical activities involving professional medical judgment and will directly supervise and mentor all Physicians, Physician Assistants, the Nursing department and other departments, which may come under responsibility of the Medical Director. Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine with an MD or DO degree. Experience with addicted and/or mental health patients preferred. 5 + years supervisory experience preferred. ABAM certification preferred.

*Controller* - 1 F/T Position

Perform advanced accounting work in general accounting and/or specialized fields, e.g. budgeting, taxation, etc. under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer. Manage the Finance department in accordance with approved budget and assure the most cost effective utilization of personnel, equipment and supplies. Associate's degree required from an accredited institution in Business Administration or related discipline required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or related discipline preferred. Minimum three years of experience in progressively responsible positions in Accounting including at least two years of management responsibility. Minimum two years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.


*Social Worker* - 1 F/T Position

Under direction of the Director of Social Services, plan, organize and implement Social Work services, by maintaining contact with referring agencies, community resources and other relevant contacts, to include coverage of the department in absence of the director. Assure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures and regulatory and accreditation requirements including confidentiality. Master's degree in Social Work required. Minimum two years' experience in a medical social work setting with mental health or addictions emphasis.


*Painter* -1 F/T Position

Coordinate, schedule and perform all activities required to maintain the cosmetic appearance of all interior and exterior surfaces of the Hospital, including equipment and furniture utilizing cost effective methods, materials and equipment. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Business or trade school courses preferred. Minimum three years of experience in painting and wallpapering trade preferred. Sufficient experience in paint mixing, surface preparation and wallpapering to equal journeyman ability.


*RN* - 1 P/T (EOW 7pm - 7am)

The registered nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is "fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered" (PA State Board of Nursing, p. 49, 21.11 (b)). As an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Registered Nurse utilizes comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge in providing direct patient care. The Registered Nurse assures compliance with all Hospital policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements set forth by regulatory bodies regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current PA nursing license in good standing. Current CPR certification required. Two years' experience in mental health and/or addictions nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

*Mental Health Tech* - 1 F/T (2nd shift 80 hrs), 4 P/T (1st shift 40 hrs; 2nd shift 40 hrs), 3 P/T (EOW 7p-7a)

Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of licensed personnel. Assure compliance with Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety and environmental and infection control and regulatory and accreditation requirements. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. CNA, MA, EMT or equivalent certification required. Undergraduate courses in healthcare related field or completion of one year in nursing school preferred. Current CPR certification, First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.


*Clinical Supervisor* - 1 F/T Position

Provide routine, structured clinical supervision to counselors in accordance with all applicable regulations, including DDAP, ensuring clinically appropriate therapeutic care for patients. Educate counseling staff regarding evidence based clinical intervention strategies, and provide for ongoing clinical staff development in a Recovery-Oriented System of Care. Provide strengths based clinical supervision and coaching that focuses on improving outcomes for VFMC patients. Master's degree or above from an accredited institution with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing. (with a clinical specialty in administration or the Human Services) or other related field. Minimum three years of clinical experience in a health or human services agency, which includes at least two years of working directly with the chemically dependent. Leadership skills and experience in management and supervision.


*Counselor* - 2 F/T Position

Provide necessary therapeutic and educational services to assist addictive patients in understanding addiction, its effect on life and how to achieve long-term sobriety. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control and all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, or other related field required and 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or a Master's degree with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting; or a CAC or CADC required. Minimum of one year experience required. Counseling experience in the addiction field preferred. Must meet state regulations regarding degree, education and have a minimum of 1 year of counseling experience as indicated above.
