We are currently accepting applications/resumes for the following positions:

*Case Manager* - 1 F/T Position

Under direction of the Director of Social Services, plan, organize and implement Social Work/Case Management services, as noted below, by maintaining contact with referring agencies, community resources and other relevant contacts. Assure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures and regulatory and accreditation requirements regarding confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, and infection control. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field. Preference for a minimum two years' experience in a social work setting, with mental health or addictions emphasis, providing direct service to clients.

*Cook * - 1 P/T Position (40 hrs)

Perform a wide variety of tasks and operations to prepare and cook foods for patients and others as directed, following standard practices and procedures. Maintain all regulatory requirements and Hospital Policies, procedures and objective relative to quality assurance, safety and environmental and infection control. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. Vocational or technical school with courses in food service/ preparation preferred. Minimum two years related experience in a large-scale food preparation required.

*Food Service Worker * - 1 P/T Position (40 hrs), 2 P/T Positions (48 hrs)

Perform a variety of tasks in kitchen, tray line and dining room according to standard practices and procedures. Comply with all Hospital and regulatory requirements, policies, procedures and objectives relative to quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. Vocational or technical school with courses in food service/ preparation preferred. Minimum one-year experience in food service.

*Counselor* - 3 F/T Positions

Provide necessary therapeutic and educational services to assist addictive patients in understanding addiction, its effect on life and how to achieve long-term sobriety. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control and all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, or other related field required and 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or a Master's degree with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting; or a CAC or CADC required. Minimum of one year experience required. Counseling experience in the addiction field preferred. Must meet state regulations regarding degree, education and have a minimum of 1 year counseling experience as indicated above.

*Painter* - Full-time

Coordinate, schedule and perform all activities required to maintain the cosmetic appearance of all interior and exterior surfaces of the Hospital, including equipment and furniture utilizing cost effective methods, materials and equipment. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infectious control and all regulatory requirements. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Business or trade school courses preferred. Minimum three years’ experience in painting and wallpapering trade with supervisory experience preferred. Sufficient experience in paint mixing, surface preparation and wallpapering to equal journeyman ability.

*Security Officer* - 1 P/T (2nd shift every Sun, Wed and Thu) 1 P/T (1st shift every Sun)

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor and/or Nurse Manager or designee, maintain peace and order throughout the Hospital. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infectious control and all regulatory requirements. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. Some law enforcement or Hospital security experience helpful.

*1 F/T (1st shift 64 hrs) *

The registered nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is “fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered” (PA State Board of Nursing, p. 49, §21.11 (b)). As an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Registered Nurse utilizes comprehensive nursing skills and knowledge in providing direct patient care. The Registered Nurse assures compliance with all Hospital policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements set forth by regulatory bodies regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current PA nursing license in good standing. Current CPR certification required. Two years’ experience in mental health and/or addictions nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

*MHT* - 1 F/T (3rd shift 80 hrs) 2 F/T (2nd shift 80 hrs) 2 P/T (2nd shift 40 hrs) 1 P/T (Every other weekend 7p - 7a) 5 Pool positions

Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of licensed personnel. Assure compliance with Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety and environmental and infection control and regulatory and accreditation requirements. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. CNA, MA, EMT or equivalent certification required. Undergraduate courses in healthcare related field or completion of one year in nursing school preferred. Current CPR certification, First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.

*Carpenter* - 1 F/T

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform a variety of general, mechanical and carpentry / repair preventive maintenance duties; repair and overhaul equipment and facilities of the Hospital. Assure compliance with all Hospital policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infectious control and all regulatory requirements. High school diploma or recognized equivalent (GED) required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Drivers' education or driving training a plus. Minimum 5 years' experience in carpentry / construction, building maintenance or equivalent education required.

*Performance Improvement Support Analyst* - 1 F/T Position

Work collaboratively with other departments to assure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures regarding quality improvement, safety, environment, infection control, EMR and all regulatory and accreditation requirements. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Experience working in a healthcare environment. Experience with insurance, regulatory and accrediting bodies and their requirements as they apply to VFMC is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
